A BURNING DESIRE

SCRIPTURE
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them:
I will never stop doing good for them.
I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.

God wants to accomplish a spring cleaning in our hearts as we take this thoughtful journey to the cross. This cleaning involves God's examination of our hearts--where motives begin, attitudes develop, and perspectives rule.
Why begin there? Because our actions and words come from them. When we submit to the cleaning God desires, we find that submission is more about what we gain than what we lose. Submission connects us to a burning desire to do God's will.

How do I describe the desire God has placed in my heart for this day of worship?
